At yesterday plenary of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Kingsley Iruba led the debate for second reading of a Bill for a Law for the establishment of Mission Schools of Nursing and Midwifery in Anambra State and other matters connected thereto.
The Bill has passed second reading. When passed into the Law our Mission Schools of Nursing and Midwifery will among other things, be well positioned to provide opportunities for quality training, retraining and continuing education for the nurses and midwives in Anambra State in particular and Nigeria in general.
Hon this is good. I want the House to enact a law prohibiting rearing and movement of cows on farm lands and roads. The law should confine rearing of cows in ranches and movement from place to place in vehicle.
ReplyDeleteThis will stop the recurrent crisis between herdsmen, farmers and the people. It will also save lives.
What's happening about Nnewi - Okigwe road. Please allign with Hon Speaker and lobby Governor to help on that road. Even if it's to do the portion in Anambra state that's Nnewi to Uga. Each time I want to come home and remember that road, I became discouraged.
