Anambra State House of Assembly Passed into Law, a Bill for the use of POS in Collecting Government Taxes

The Anambra State House of Assembly yesterday (11/10/2016) passed into Law, a Bill for the use of Bank Point of  Sale (POS) and Bill's to Collect Government Taxes,  Levies and Sundry Revenue and other related matters. 

The Law is aimed at ensuring efficiency and transparency in the collection of government revenues.

This Law when well implemented shall put to an end all
leakages experienced by the State in revenue collection.

This Law, when fully implemented shall ensure that any revenue generated in Anambra State goes directly into the Government revenue account and not into private pockets of certain individuals.

This Law will further ensure that nobody is subjected to double taxation.
