The House of Assembly today partly considered a Bill for a Law to establish the Operation Clean and Healthy ANAMBRA (OCHA) Brigade. The Bill is aimed at regulating the activities of the OCHA Brigade.
The House also passed a motion calling on the Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano to direct the Commissioner for Trade, Commerce, Markets and Wealth Creation to
develop and make functional the permanent Trade Fair Site at Awka. This motion is aimed at creating the enabling environment that will make our State an International Trade Fair Centre which in turn will create employment opportunities for our people and generate more revenue for the Government.
The House equally passed a motion urging the Governor of Anambra State, His Excellency, Chief (Dr.) Willie Obiano to construct the old road connecting Umuchu through Uga in Aguata LGA to Unubi in Nnewi South LGA.
